Most fish will eat low-flying insects and those that alight on water. Mosquitoes, however, make a point of breeding on stagnant (non-moving) water that has no fish or other wildlife in it. The best natural defense against mosquitoes is bats, which are able to consume around 1000 mosquitoes per hour.

There is actually a fish called a mosquito fish that people use in ponds. They are very effective and multiply fast. I use rosy red minnows. They are pink and look better than the gray mosquito fish. They don't reproduce as fast.

No there is not. Fish and mosquitos get along fine and the fish actually eat the mosquito eggs. That's why mosquitos lay their eggs in still water.
