Water immediately after planting in well drained soil- the plant will accept sandy to clayish garden soil. Jasmine will tolerate partial shade but prefers 4 full hours of sun per day. The stems of the young plant requires support, and tips should be pinched to encourage the plant to growth out, pruning and light fertilization is recommended.

Jasmine is a creeper or what they call vine and you need to build a surface for the creeper to grow , best would be using bamboo shoots and form it like a grill so the jasmine plant can grow, the plant will not grow on the ground and needs support

Jasmine needs to be planted in partial shade or full sun. It grows best when it can be kept warm. Keep the soil moist and give your plant extra water in the summer. Each spring be sure and fertilize your jasmine. Jasmine grows well in an indoor container or outside. Plant outside in the fall.
