How do you break up with your girlfriend?

I have been dating a girl for six months now and want to end the relationship.

Tell her you don't to see her anymore. Be polite, and tell her why, if possible. Don't call her anymore after you do this.

Do it in phases. Stop seeing her as much. Be busy at work. Talk to her less. Then let her know gently that you are not satisfied with the relationship.
