How do you become a CNA in Illinois?

CNA can be a two year program through the community college or through a vocational training. After training, comes license obtainment, and on the job training.

It's probably no different han in other states. Most states require future CNAs to enroll in an accredited nursing program at a four-year college or community college. Some hospitals may even offer a CNA nursing education program. In addition to this, you'll also have to take a state certification exam in order to obtain a license for this profession.
