The CNA training program can run anywhere from a few weeks to a few months, depending on the training schedule. Some employers offer the training for free in exchange for an agreement to work for them for a certain length of time. Otherwise, the training is offer by the American Red Cross and a variety of tech schools.

Contact Board of Nursing in your state for guidelines of CNA school accreditation. Research state grants and/or private donors for start up funds. Learn how to market the school.

Check out your local CNA schools in your area for their requirements. Each state has different requirements. A high school diploma may be needed before training for the CNA. Some schools may offer financial aide. Also, check out employers who will hire you and pay for your CNA classes while you work for them.

You have to apply and make sure you have the necessary qualifications. If you can't afford it, apply for some kind of a scholarship or grant.
