How do you advertise Youtube videos?

I think the best way to do that is to post it on a social networking site. I made a video a while back and I posted the link to two of my social networking sites. I received lots of hits because some of my friends ended up passing the link along.

I will tell someone in person about a Youtube video, write about it on a social site or blog about it, to inform someone about a Youtube video.

To advertise Youtube videos I would definitely utilize social media networks such as Facebook or Myspace because of the shear volume of people. Typically I believe Facebook would be a better faciliation for this because you can update your status with a link and direct view of the video.
