The NCAA basketball rankings are voted on by the Associated Press (who are picked) and coaches. The rankings are based on performance, and the way the team played the previous week, and also on their opponent. The rankings are compiled each week, and are important at the end of the season.

The NCAA basketball rankings are determined by the wins and losses of a team. It also depends on how hard of an opponent they are facing. The harder the schedule and the more wins the better ranking.
