The best way to know the value is to look in a basketball card book and then take any that are valuable and have them Graded.

There are a lot of different ways to determine the worth of basketball cards. I would start with a magazine like becket that has values in it. After that you could check online to see what the sets are worth. Other than that you could try to take the cards to a local card shop and have them appraised.

Every basketball card has a different value. Completed sets are wanted along with single cards. Some cards have errors and unless you are an expert you would not know which card is which. You can look up some on an online auction and determine which cards are valuable. Then you can have the best cards graded. Grading determines value.
