There are examples of rental agreements online. You have to be careful though, rental agreements are there for the renter' and the owner's protection. Make it too simple and you may leave yourself uncovered in case of damages.

The office supply store has rental agreement forms. Remember that all terms must be contained in the agreement, not added later orally.

Write a simple agreement stating the monthly rent, when it is due, and any fines for late payment. Include the deposit fee, and what it may be used for upon termination of the agreement. Also include the amount of time the occupant must give before moving out and a time period for the renatl agreement.
