Start by removing the T Stat from the wall and mark the wires currently in place. Take the new T Stat and replace each wire to the coresponding location on the new T Stat. Rember to remove the old mounting plate and reinstall the new one first.

If you are wanting to wire this type of thermostat you will need to make sure you have two different wires because of the way the thermostat has been setup.
