Installing a digital thermostat is very similar to installing a dial thermostat. Be sure to match the wires color to color. For example, match yellow to yellow (or blue), green to green, red to red, and white to white.

Red whire to the thermostat RH or thermostat RC terminal. There should be a jumper wire between the RH and RC terminals. Green wire to the G thermostat G terminal. Yellow to the thermostat Y terminal. White to the thermostat W terminal. Wire colors are standard. If not, mark the wire connections on the old thermostat to keep track.
