Check your pool's pH levels and make sure that everything is okay. Follow the directions of the packet that was included w/ the algicide. Let the pool sit over night. The next day, make sure you vacuum up the dead algae.

Use 1 pill of algicide for every 50 gallons in your tank if the problem continues or has not cleared up or even comes back within the next 5 days simply repeat the process.

Algicide is for use in swimming pools or ponds where algae is a problem. For swimming pools you much over chlorinate your water and let sit for about 2 days. Add the algicide and let the pool sit till the next day. Then vacuum the dead algae. Adjust your pools PH afterwards.

Algaecide can be used to treat swimming pools, fish ponds and other 'water features'in order to kill algea that becomes immune to chlorine. By using it regularly you can increase the life of the filter system. Shock the pool once a week whether it may or may not seem necessary by using it as a preventive measure.

Well normally you would be using this to clean out your algae in the swimming pool. So I suggest you put in a couple of drops into the pool to raise the chlorine content. Try to mix it well and let it dissolve into the pool. You don't want too much.

Most algicides have simple instructions on back of bottle. Add amount it recomends through your skimmer nearest your pump. Generally once per week.
