How do I turn off the firewall is off warning on my computer?

If you have Windows Vista then Go to - Control Panel -Windows Firewall -turn on (recommended) turning off the firewall is harmful to computers.

Go to "Security Center" (in Control Panel in Windows XP, in Control Panel -> Security in Vista), click "Change the way Security Center alerts me", and select the last option, "Don't notify me and don't display the icon (not recommended)". You know it must be good, because Microsoft don't recommend it!

I'm assuming that it's Windows Security Center that pop-ups these warnings. First open Windows Security Center (Windows Start button - Programs or All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - Security Center). Then locate the Resource pane on the left hand side. There click on the "Change the way Security Center alerts me". From there disable the firewall warnings.

Right click on My Computer and then select manage. Select the services option. Scroll down until to security center and double click. Set startup type to disabled and select ok.
