If the pain when walking on the sprained toe is tolerable, it is fine to walk in it. Very little can be done except to wrap the toe against an adjacent one for additional support.

A sprained toe is painful and the only thing that really helps is staying off it. You can certainly walk on it without fear of further injury, but limit your activities to those that you can tolerate fairly well. You may find it helpful to tape the sprained toe to the adjacent toe to stabilize it.

If you have a sprained toe, you should refrain from all kinds of activities and take rest. Wear protective shoes and do some toe exercises as recommended by your doctor.

If you've just sprained your toe, ice it down. Aspirin will reduce your inflamation. Walk on your sprained toe, but be careful; a sprain can put you off balance.

For sprained toe just tie a pressure bandage on the toe. You can walk on it but it is better if you take rest for a day or two.

Try to keep your foot elevated as much as possible. You can also try soaking it in warm water with a little vinegar. call doctor if that doesn't help.
