How do I strip wallpaper off of unpainted sheetrock?

You can get a solvent to try to release the glue, but you may be better off just to texture the wallpaper with sandpaper and paint over it.

That is almost impossible. To remove wallpaper, score wall surface with special device from the paint/wallpaper store. They dip sponge in water & fabric softener to soak wall. You will still have to scrape. You will have to use sheetrock mud on the entire wall or remove the sheetrock.

Use a steamer or you can spray water in the paper and start by pulling off pieces from the bottom, use sand paper to smooth the surface before replacing wallpaper.
