How do I replace a mower deck belt?

Your belt should wrap around a series of pulleys. Your deck usually is held by guide rods and carter pins. Some decks have to be dropped to replace the belts. Make sure you make a copy of the way your belt routes on your deck. A pry bar may be handy to have during the repair.

take the three pins out from under the belly of the mower .Once that is done pull the deck out from under the mower so it is easier on you
