A cleaner such a Goo-gone will remove the sap without harming the paint (other possibilities include mineral spirits and nail polish remover). It is always best to test the cleaner on a non-visible portion of the finish. After cleaning, apply a layer of car wax to help protect the finish.

There are dirt and grease removal kits you can purchase, i'm sure that would remove the sap, a home "remedy" is to put black pepper on the foreign object.

This is going to sound crazy, but WD-40 is great for removing tree sap, tar, or just about any other road grime from your vehicle's paint. WD-40 is a very powerful cleaner/lubricant, but it will not damage your vehicle's paint.

Well I would recommend a good automotive sap remover. Just make sure it high quality like Meguiar's bug and tar remover and use a microfider cloth or something so you don't hurt the paint. Use a good wax after cleaning to make the next clean up easier,

Removing tree sap from a vehicles paint can be done with nail polish remover or mineral spirits. After sap is removed the area should be cleaned with a water/baking paste like mixture. The vehicle should then be properly waxxed. A water soluble paint brush cleaner can also be used for this.

You can try any regualr car wash and water to remove the tree sap, if that does not work you may need something made for removing tree sap.
