How do I remove the starter from my truck?

First remove your battery cables, positive first. Then locate the starter; it will be somewhere around where the transmission meets the engine block. Remove all electrical connections, then remove mechanical connections.

it really depends on what kind of truck u are driving. u have to find the starter. then disconect the positive battery terminal. then disconect the starter wire. remove the the two or three nuts that hold the starter in place. it should come right out.

first you have to look in the manual and find out exactly where it is on your truck then go under the car and take it out

This all depends on the make and model of your truck. You can do an online search for directions and you may be successful at finding a how-to for your specific vehicle. Otherwise you should visit your local or online auto parts store and buy a manual written exclusively for your truck and follow those instructions.

First disconnect the battery (important!!!), than remove all cables at the starter and than open all screws that hold the starter at the engine...

Without knowing the make model or engine of the truck I can't be too specific in the process. First disconnect the battery. Find the start and disconnect the wires. Finally unbolt it from the block. Be careful to make sure that the new one is installed to the correct depth on the flywheel to ensure proper operation.

Most starters are on the right side of the truck .Get underneth the truck .Find the two bolts that hold it in to place and after you have them removed.

jack the truck up and locate the starter most are on the front of the engine normally 2 bolts holding it
