How can I remove a GE glass-top range?

First cut the power to the range from the house (at the breaker). Verify the power is off. Disconnect the power cords. Then you need to break the seal. It's sealed with caulking around it. Just pull it out. The range should lift out because it should just be caulked in there.

Well, look for screws if you find some, then you want to unscrew that. They are at the bottom so remove them.
