If your bottle can handle it put the label through a a dish washer. The surfactants used and the heat and motion will remove most if not all of it, especially if given several runs. If not use dishwasher detergent and a toothbrush to work the label off by hand.

Soak the glass bottle in some warm water with a little liquid dish soap and a small amount of vinegar. After the bottle has soaked, use a dish cloth to scrub the adhesive off.

Fill a sink with some warm soapy water. Put the glass bottle in and let it soak for several minutes. You will be able to roll the adhesive right off.

You can use a green scrub pad and real warm water. Not boiling but just about. Let it sit for a while and when you are able to handle the water scrub the bottle while submursed.
