How do I remove a rotor?

First detach the battery to prevent shock, then using the corret tools, blockt the rotor from rotating while unscrewing and the remove the nut or cap holding it on.

Well typically all you need to do is to remove the wheel, remove the caliper, then slide off the rotor. Sometimes though you have to remove the hub and the bolt holding it on. Other setups have a bolt holding the rotor onto the hub that must be removed.
