How do I make my Hotmail the default in Outlook?

To make any email account the default go to the accounts tab and click settings. Once in there you will be able to select your Hotmail account.

In order to have your hotmail your default on your Outlook, you will have to go to your setting on your outlook in order to default hotmail.

Once you open Outlook, click on the Tools Tab. Then click on Account Settings. This will open a new window where you can add your hotmail account if you haven't all ready. In that same window, you can highlight the hotmail account and then click the set as default tab.

In outlook, first go to "Tools" and then to "Account Settings". From the "Email" tab you can create an account by clicking "New" and following the steps in the wizard. Finally, make sure you set the account to default by clicking the "set as default" button.

Use a web browser to log into your Hotmail account and click on options. In there you can find all the information to put into Outlook so you can send and receive your mail through there.

In the options panel of Outlooks program is and option to make it your default. This question is often asked when the program is started also

Once you set up your hotmail account in Outlook, the Outlook engine should automatically make it your default and primary e-mail.
