First I would try to mount the air intake sideways so the air is forced in to it. Check your exhaust making sure it is not plugged.

First make sure if there are any restrictors in your model or throttle stop screws and remove and adjust. Different clutch sheaves help the most with going faster. You could also add an exhaust, intake, and possibly a high performance cdi/ecm. But, like I said your best bet is to get aftermarket clutch sheaves and a new bike.

there are sevral ways to do this you can buy a 2 carb mount and place that on the snowmobile you can also bore out the piston cylinders and place a oversized piston in it then there is always nitro for snowmobiles if neither of these satisfy your need for speed buy bigger snowmobile

Like any other engine either increase the amount of air in or out. Remove any governor or change the drive ratio. Bore it out if possible.

After the secondary clutch there is a drive shaft Most sleds will allow you to go 1 tooth up or down on the top gear without having to change the chain. Going down a tooth gives better acceleration
