Two threads, one horizontal and one vertical. Fold vertical over horizontal to the right. Take horizontal and fold over loop. Fold right vertical over loop. Fold back horizontal in loop.

These are things I made as a kid! First, you take two strands of thread and cross them, with the horizontal one on top of the vertical one. Then you take the top of the vertical and fold it over the horizontal to form a loop. Take the right and fold over the loop. Repeat.

Loop first string around the second. Stick the end of the string through the loop. Make a loop with all of the strings. Put one end of the string through.
