How do I look up the contents within a cell in Excel?

Using Excel's "Lookup Wizard" you can easily find cell values or you can select the particular to view its contents in the formula bar.

Just open up the file in question, go to the cell that you'd like to examine, and either double click it or press Enter. This will open the cell box drop down menu near the top of the program.

To look contents you can use tools lookup wizard in 2003, or select particular cell and see the content in the formula bar.

When you click a cell in Excel, you should find the exact contents (what you typed in) in a white bar above the cells.
