How do I know which make-up brushes I need?

I'd recommend by getting the basics first like the foundation brush, a powder brush, a brush to pack on eyeshadow and a crease brush. Other brushes it depends on how much you use the products, like a blush or bronzer brush or a concealer brush (I prefer fingers).

First of all, you will want to buy quality brushes with either real hair or a good synthetic hair that feels soft and comfortable on your skin. There are many different brushes that serve almost the exact same purpose. If you purchase your brushes from a make-up store like Sephora, the brushes often have their uses printed on the handle.

You really only need about 4 of these brushes. One brush for your foundation, one brush for your blush, one for your eyeshadow, and one for your lips.

Basically there is a makeup brush for applying eyeshadow, a blush brush for blush or all over the face powder and a lip brush for applying lip liner.
