How do I know if I have proper drip edge installation?

I'm not sure the drip edge on my roofing is correct.

Make sure that the edging is backed with a coating and that it is located under the window or roof and that it protudes from same.

The reason for drip edging is to protect the roof boards from water damage. Sections ought to overlap and should have at least a 1. 5" overhang at the eaves.
