The insulation bats can be placed on top of the existing insulation or they can be placed in or on the ceiling joists. The key to the proper installation is to ensure the reflective side of the insulation is facing up towards the roof.

Radiant barrier is simple to install. You unroll the barrier and attach it to the bottom of your rafters with staples. Leave a six inch gap at top and bottom.

Great choice for any home, you can layer on the roof, but the best is to just lay down on the floor, as it will added extra sealant for the already laid insulation.

You can lay this type of insulation directly over your current insulation in your attic. You can also staple it to the attic roof or around ducts.

In order to be able to install this type of radiant barrier you are going to need tools such as a hammer and sealer.
