I wouldn't use it for the simple fact that gas is not designed for radiant heat and could cause serious fire danger.

Yes a natural gas furnace can be used for radiant floor heat. The furnace makes the room very warm and it is easier to sleep at night due to the heat. But if you would also like to have warm heat into the room, then you can buy a heater for the room.

As a plumber i can tell you that a furnace will not produce the floor heat you need. Although naturally heat rises it is not enough to heat a floor. The correct way would be to use a water heater or boiler to run a looped water system under the floor.

Contact a professional they could tell you but as far as I know radiant heat requires a boiler system and if so you will ned to install some new appliances for your heating system.

A gas furnace can be used for radiant floor heating if it is a boiler type furnace. A forced air typical style gas furnace can not. In order to heat the water or liquid in a radiant floor system the furnace must have a method for heating the liquid. If your furnace has a boiler you can.

No. Radiant floor heat requires tubing installed in the slab or underfloor and heating water. The heating needs to come from a boiler. Your furnace puts out hot air.

Radiant floors are heated with hot water or electricity. A natural gas heater can be converted into heating the water for the radiant floor.

Yes it can but you would have to install new ports for the heat to be able to come up through the floor boards. It is quite simple but can be time consuming and tricky if you don't know what you are doing.
