If the lump is actually cartilage, you may have to have surgery to have it removed. Some lumps feel hard like cartilage, but are not- if your lump is one of these, it may be a harmless cyst. You can reduce the size of a cyst by applying heat to it.

The only way to get rid of it would be to have plastic surgery. A plastic surgeon will be able to correct this issue for you. There is no natural or non-surgical option for this kind of problem. You should get the recommendation for a plastic surgeon from your doctor.

This is known as a "keyloid" and they don't go away that easily, try rubbing pure vitamin E oil directly on it.
