How do I get a mutual fund license?

You need a Series 6 SEC license. You must be sponsored by a registered financial firm (broker, insurance company) to take an SEC test. Some firms hire trainees and will sponsor you. You might get a salary (short term) until you sit for the exam.

For selling mutual fund, all need is a mutual fund license. Company provides mutual fund license. for that there is eligibility criteria depending upon their requirement. A candidate has to give examination and will have to pass the examination to get the license code. If u get the license code it can be utilised for rest of the purpose
