First - clear the room, actually the whole subdivision. Seriously, move the dogs at least 500m away. Use your left hand, first three fingers, no thumb and overblow.

The first three keys, along with the Eb key, are the proper fingering. Try keeping your aperture small, as this will help with higher notes. You'll need to blow harder, as well. These techniques can help on all of the higher octave notes.

You need to make sure you use the correct fingering which is the same as a regular G except you do not use your thumb key, so index, middle, and ring fingers on your left hand only. Also adjust your blowing according, blow faster and tighter. Try using scales to work up to the note.

To hit the high G on a piccolo, you will need to make the opening of your lips smaller and blow a little harder while holding your fingers over the correct keys.

Since a piccolo is a bit more difficulty to get higher notes out of, then I would suggest that you try raising the piccolo higher on your lip.
