Before I'd draw them up from scratch, I'd do a search online for "free woodcraft plans - trundle bed". You'll find more than a dozen places that offer trundle bed drawings or schematics that you can download or print free. Most include step-by-step directions and a materials list to get you started.

It's not an easy task. I would start with a simple overview of what kind of bed you're going to be looking at when all is said and done. Take a few courses in planning just to make sure it's all up to snuff. If that doesn't work, you can always build a little green rosetta instead.

If you're planning on bulding a Trundle Bed, you better have a decent amount of carpentry experience. If you have this experience then drawing up plans shouldn't be a problem. If you don't, you should contact a carpenter and have them help you with a plan. Carpentry plans aren't something easily described on a website!

I would look online or in books for a good Shaker model. Shaker furniture is a design that would be easy to replicate and is very strong and functional.

A trundle type bed is not usually available in the furniture market. You would have to sketch and draw the type of wheeled bed you want with details of the sizes in terms of length, breadth and height and show the said details to a good carpenter of your area to turn your thought into reality.
