How do I determine where a rodent is in my Jeep Cherokee, from the smell it is obvious it is dead?

I have a dead rodent some where in my car and I can not find it, the smell is driving me crazy.

Usually they look for someplace warm so I would check around the engine/engine housing. I would also check the muffler/tailpipe. If you can't find whatever is causing the smell then you might want to take your car in for detailing. They can find just about anything that is causing odors.

Smell is for nose. Rodent is for eyes. Dead flesh is for touch. These are the three senses to use literally and figuratively. Use your nose intermittently. Just follow the strong smell. Keen eyes is very essential. And move those hands to the underneaths. Problem is when the dead is in the AC blower.

I would take out both of the front seats because the chances are it is under one of them. Also, a flash light would come in handy.
