The most suitable way is to check your ride's manual for wiring diagram. This will help you in finding the correct color code for the wire that conducts your dash lights. You may check the fuse box below ur dashboard for a blown fuse.

You will need to check the wiring that is on your Jeep. It appears that you may have a loose wire somewhere.

It sounds to me like you have a electrical problem that has nothing to do with the fuel system. Probably a main power or ground that feeds the dash as well as the computer.

you can check the fuse panel to see if there is a blown fuse. also you may have a bulb that is out.
