How do I design my own shoe line?

You have to ask yourself what would the customers want. What is your mission in the business. I would recommend in making as many shoe's as possible. Most of them will fail, but within your pile of shoes you will find some that many will like and make bank on your business.

First of all I would do some market research, then find a shoe designer to do the job for me and liaise with a shoe manufacturer .

First you need to be an artist in design. This can be accomplished by applying to a design fashion school. Hand made and one kind are in style.

Unless you are a famous athlete, celebrity or fashion designer it is highly unlikely that you will be designing your own shoe line. However, it is possible to design shoes for yourself and friends if you have a background in fashion and design (although it is unlikely anyone will want to wear your designs unless they are really good.)
