You deposit it into the account of the estate. Alternative: Have the estate endorse it as payable to you (second party check), then you cash it.

Before depositing this type of a check, the estate will first have to endorse it. This will be done by its legal representative, an executor or administrator appointed by a probate court.

Checks made out to an estate must be endorsed by the administrator of the estate or executor of the will and deposited into the estate's bank account.
