Best way is use Ethernet network, wired or wireless, connect them on router using wlan or ethernet wires. Router is connected on your modem, cable, adsl or something else. Linksys, Zyxel and Buffalo are good brand easy devices.

connect lan ports. install a proxy software like CCPROXY. assign proxy to the other ip at some random port like 808. change the proxy settings of the second comp. ccproxy is free for 3comps.
