The easiest way to compress WAV files for PowerPoint, or any reason for that matter, is a download program called Audacity. It's free, just Google search it. Then, open audacity, click file, open, find the WAV you need. Then just hit file, export as MP3, and it'll do the rest.

Well that is very simple just convert your WAV files into Wma using any audio conversion files and then insert the wma file into your power point presentation using insert sound option.
