An actor is an actor, regardless of the kind of work. As with any acting job, you will need experience in theater, and a professional photo and resume that you can offer to agencies that hire talent for print and broadcast advertising.

You need to attend as many open call castings as you possibly can. Try to find an agent who can get you into some closed auditions.

I would hire yourself an agent, and see what kind of work they can give you. You could also join the actor's guild, or if you have done some modelling work, send it in to some of the more major industry reps. Hopefully you have some sort of an acting background.
