There is a website that will help you find out the names of actors that appear in commercials, and it is splendad. com. Once you find the name of the person you were searching for, you can enter that name into imdb. com and see his other credits.

Because actors often have a fanbase of sorts,others who have seen the commercial will probably have seen it and recognized the guy. I would google the name of the product and the word "commercial" and "actor" and I am sure some of the first webpages that pop up will contain the information you are looking for.

You can try googling the commercial or finding the video on an online video site. You could also try contacting the company the advertisement was for or the a agency that made the video.

I would first find the commercial on YouTube or Google information about the commercial. While it is typically tougher to find information on commercial actors, it certainly isn't impossible.
