Sometimes they get grumpy, their fur might be drier and scruffier than normal. Of course they scratch, and bite themselves. Some cats may freak out with their first infection, jumping, spinning, growling and biting the fleas. Remedies are plentiful and affordable, there's no reason for most cats to have fleas.

Fleas can cause a cat to groom or scratch excessively. This usually result in hair loss and scabs in the cats coat. In addition when a cat ingests fleas they can develop tapeworms.

Well the thing I notice most is that they scratch themselves alot and this must be very annoying to them as they probably don't get enough rest as they should.
