Pachysandra is as easy to propagate as any other plant. Use a cutting of a small tender shoot that is at least six inches long, and you should be successful.

Propagation of the Pachysandra is relatively easy! All you have to do is dig up a smaller spring growth located near one of the more mature plants. For an easy tutorial, go to the eHow website and search for "How to Propagate Pachysandra". Everything you need is there!

I recommend using rooting compound on the stems of soft cuttings. Cuttings should be about 6" long. The flats the nursery sells the pachysandra in are good to use for starting the cuttings.

It is easy. You can use cuttings from taller pachysandras and simply stick each one in the ground about two inches. You must keep them watered until they take root. That is the most important part.

It is really easy to propagate pachysandra! Just cut off some shoots off from taller plants and stick them into the dirt a few centemeters. They will form new roots.
