Disconnect car battery(get radio code first if you have one). Get a steering wheel puller and remove steering wheel and plate to get to lock. Disconnect switch. Remove lock.
Depending on the make and model of the vehicle you are working on make a very large difference. The best suggestion i can give is to buy a manual specific to your vehicle.
they r all a little different u have to take the plastic off the steering colum and take out the 2 or 3 hidden screws and when its coming out take the wire of the back of it
