English is a very hard language to learn, especially if you're an adult. One of the best things you can do is have a native speaker edit your writting and explain to you the tences and why the corrections need to be made. Don't be afraid to ask for help, it's great that you want to improve.

One of the best ways to improve writing is to read very good writers such as those who write for The New Yorker magazine. Another way is to learn grammar. Finally, practice. Write a lot and get friends to give you feedback on your writing.

The only way to improve is to do it often. Read all kinds of text and practise putting them into your own words. Ask your friends to check over what you write if you are worried about errors. Join web forums, start a blog, have a penfriend - anything that gets you writing more!

The best way to improve your writing skills is self discipline. Read as often as possible and study hard. If at all possible consider showing your work to an editor to discuss your writing.
