How can I unlock a Sidekick?

Go to youtube and type in how can i unlock a sidekick and some videos will pop up, and you might have to go through them to find the one your looking for.

Unfortunately you can't unlock your own phone by yourself. You can get it unlocked from someone and it will cost you about ten to fifty bucks depending on where you go and it will cost more if you go back to the place you bought your phone from in the first place.

You call into T-Mobile customer care to request the unlock code. It usually takes 3-5 business days for them to email it to you. Once you have the unlock code you simply enter this code into the phone and it is unlocked.

You can either ask your carrier to unlock it after you fulfill whatever conditions they have or you could use unlock codes. They are easily available online.
