How can I tell if my goldfish is pregnant?

When they are getting close to breeding you will notice the male will stay quite close to the female until the eggs are laid and he fertilizes them.

During spawning season, male goldfish chase female goldfish and she scatters eggs and they fertilize them. If the fish is bloated looking it could be full of eggs, or it could be constipated, or it could have dropsy. (Dropsy is where the kidneys fail and the body and scales fill with fluid).

goldfish dont get pregnant they lay unvertalised eggs then a male goes up to the eggs and inserts sperm into the eggs

Goldfish cannot be pregnant, she might be filled with eggs; put plants in the tank so she can lay them or she might die.

YOu can see the black thick content will be under the stomach.If it is swimming we can see the black in the backside.

i have a goldfish i just got because it was fat but now i think she is has eggs i want them to hatch but i dont know if there is a male to fertilize them

fish lay eggs they do not get pregnant and give birth. so you really just have to wait and see if you have extra goldfish swimming around.

well you have to watch it closly and if another goldfish chases after it you will know that your fish will have babies
