How can I stop being a prude?

I can't seem to help myself. I don't want to be a prude but I am.

Picture someone who is the type of person you would like to be more like. Think hard about how they act, speak, and react to things around them. Practice role-playing this person as though you were acting out a part in a play.

First consider why you are a prude, what is important to you? make a point of trying new experiences, once you have overcome that hurdle you'll see how easy it is. Think about you not other peoples' reactions when trying something new. Good luck!

Prudishness typically comes from needing other people to be a certain way. The need typically comes from insecurity about yourself. Find what it is that you're insecure about, give it a lot of thought, and you'll find that you're more open to other people's differences.

First, try to stop being so hard on yourself. If you are too hard on yourself, you won't be able to take it easy with others. Then think of something (legal and safe) that you have not allowed yourself to do before, and give it a try.

Being a prude stems from wanting to do the right thing and taking care of yourself: Try to broaden your view of what is good and right for yourself.

I would start out slow and work your way up. I used to be a prude, but those days are long gone. Drink a little more, flirt alot more, and fool around with a few people simply for the fun of it. If breaking 'big rules' seems impossible, break some small ones with ambiguous flirty and naughtiness.
