One homemade mixture you can bottle and spray requires chopped onion and jalapeno pepper, boiled together. Add 1 tablespoon each of paprika and cayenne pepper, then let simmer for about ten minutes. Cool mixture and strain, then put in spray bottle. You can spray this on garden plants once a week.

Squirrels can not be "repeled" but they can be deterred. The easiest way to deter squirrels is going to be putting up a fence. Depending on what you are growing in your garden you may not need to repel squirrels. However if you are having asquirrel problem you would cover your garden with a tight mesh net.

Squirrels cannot handle the heat of peppers. While wearing gloves, finely dice 4-5 cayenne peppers. Mix diced peppers with warm water in a spray bottle. Mist plants with pepper spray.
