How can I remove the Compaq setup drive from hard disk after restoring the system completely?

You have three options to go with, one is buy a new OS and format. The other option is on windows you can manage your partitions and delete one of them. (Deleted the setup one) or leave it alone, in case you need to roll back the PC. (Very Helpful!)

We should manage your partition and also delete one from them which may be setup drive. Or otherwise leave it alone for removing the Compaq setup drive. We also use Linux system to get this. This method is used to remove the setup section which is enlarging the partition capacity.

You can try to use a Linux system like Ubuntu that can booot from CD. This allows you to remoce the setup partition and enlarge the system partition.
